My abbreviations and more.

It's a good ide to read instructions before you start any work. Make a print to keep beside you, when you work.

Crochet:

Hook: You are been told which size you have to need, in all patterns.

Yarn: There are so much yarn to use. Not all patterns includes special yarn, but then there will be written something like, yarn that fits to hook no 2,5 mm or any other size.

Danish cotton no. 8 fits to hook no2,5-3,0 mm, Crochet cotton no. 10 fits to hook no 1,5-2 mm.

Start: In patterns there will be written how many chains (ch) you have to start with. It can be written ch 3m (=1 dc) if nothing else is written. That means that is in start it says 3 dc, you will atart with ch 3 and then 2 dc's.

Ending: You always ends in last made ch on previous row, if there is nothing else written. If crocheting in round, you always ends in last ch that you started with, AND always ends with sl st, if nothing else is written.

Picot: ch 3, 1 sc in ch 3 from hook. Sometimes it can be ch 4, if it's going to be bigger.

Knitting:

Needles: You are been told which size you have to need, in all patterns.

Garn: In all patterns there will be written the name of the yarn. Because of the difference between danish and english yarn, you will be told which size of needle that fits the yarn, if I do not have the name of the yarn.

Start/end: Al patterns are starting and ending with k1 on all rows (edge stitch). This will make the work easier to sew together on right, which will make the work look better.
